I'm about to buy an Xbox 360. What do I have to be careful of?

The Xbox 360 console was first released in late 2005, but 30% of the consoles released were riddled with faults. Since then, Microsoft have seemed to have improved the product and have offered an extended warranty on the Red Ring of Death fault. This means that even if you do recieve a faulty console, as long as you haven't voided your warranty, you will still be able to take it back for repairs, usually for free.

Who can I contact about my Xbox 360 fault?

Microsoft's Xbox.com website offers a support section where you can call or email the company and explain your problem to them. With any luck, they'll be able to fix any problem you have with your console.

What warranty does my Xbox 360 come with?

The Xbox 360 console features a standard one-year warranty for all customers which covers a range of faults, but the more necessary warranty is the extended 3-year warranty that Microsoft have offered to cover only the Red Ring of Death fault. You should check out Xbox.com's Support section to find out more.
